Inspiration for these coasters has come from the aerial views of the Charente Maritime area near Cognac. 

The glazes that I work with are poured in a free and intuitive way, creating patterns and effects which resemble aerial views of the Earth. 

All my pieces are uniquely glazed, so no one piece will be the same. The piece you receive will therefore be slightly different from the photos on the website. 

As with all hand-made pottery, the utmost care should be taken when handling ceramics. Although they are high fired meaning it would be safe to place them in the dishwasher, it is strongly advisable to hand wash all pottery pieces as the chemicals in dishwashers can dull the glazes over time. They could also be chipped during the wash cycle.  A care card is provided with your purchase.
