I create distinctive stoneware ceramics with a strong focus on expressive glaze decoration. My vessels become canvases onto which I 'paint' abstract interpretations of views of the sea and landscapes I have observed on my travels.

I love spending time in my garden studio developing the perfect glaze palette, producing countless test tiles to capture the subtle tones and shifting moods of my chosen environments. This process of experimentation is central to my practice, driven by the challenge of finding colours and hues that echo the essence of a place.

Although every mark is considered, I work with an intuitive, fluid approach. By pouring and layering glazes that create richly coloured, immersive surfaces that feel both dynamic and mesmerising.

I've been named 'The One to Watch' by ENKI magazine, and continue to to evolve my practice. I completed a Foundation Diploma in Ceramics at West Dean College of Arts &  Conservation in Chichester and now works from my garden studio overlooking the  Surrey Hills. My work is currently exhibited in galleries across the UK.
